Family gathering in the woods.

When families come together for reunions, or meeting of new nephews and grandchildren, as was the reason for this gathering, beautiful memories are made. I was lucky enough to be invited along for this one, and here are some of the photographs from the Memorial day weekend retreat in the woods.

The most fun!

This session with Hunter was the most fun Ive had on a shoot in a long time. Regrettably we gave her the nice, red lolly pop at the start of the session and it was impossible to get her to part with it. We risked getting sticky, red goo on all of  Hunter's gorgeous dresses but it was well worth it for the fun we had. It was such a great afternoon!

Cape Town

A quick look at some of the spectacular scenery in Cape Town, South Africa where I spent a month with my family and friends after a long, long time away.
This is my heaven.

THE CITY PROJECT.../cont

The latest in the series are done. Here are the newest additions. I noticed that I hadn't put in descriptions or titles for the previous posts, so below each image there is a note about the image.

Lower Manhattan - The financial district taken from the water headed out on the Staten Island Ferry.

Bridge Kiss - Lovers on the bridge over the pond, Central Park.

A mural on the wall of an old paint factory in TriBeCa. The coolest thing about this building is that there is a balloon store under this mural.

Benches on the Esplanade - Looking out over the East river towards Manhattan from the Esplanade in Brooklyn Heights.

A weary restaurant worker massages his foot outside SALT in SoHo.

The rickety hand rails leading down to the Southern end of the Roosevelt island.

Two Squirrels - These guys were cuddling in a nook in the wall at the Theatre site of the Worlds Fair Grounds, Corona Park, Flushing, Queens.

The Wonder Wheel at sunset - taken in the late fall of 2009 at Coney Island.
